Pay the test fee ($15).   This must be done online with a credit or debit card.  Instructions are below.

Note: A non-refundable convenience fee of $3.50 will be applied for online payments.

THE TEST FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.

Online Payment Instructions

1. Go to  
2. In Step 1 "Choose A Group", select Spanish Placement (Online)
3. In Step 2 "Choose an exam", select Spanish Placement (Online)
4. In Step 3, enter your required information
5. In Step 4, read the acknowledgements thoroughly and check the "I agree..." checkbox
6. In Step 5, enter the required information (all fields are required).  
7. Confirm the amount is correct ($18.50)
8. Click on the green "Add to Cart" button
9. Verify the amount and click on the green "Ready to checkout?" button
10. Complete payment information and press Continue
11. When payment is completed successfully, you will receive a confirmation email with your payment and test information

IMPORTANT: When payment is complete, forward a copy of the confirmation email as proof of payment to distancetesting@utep.edu to receive a testing instructions.

Please make sure you add the following:

1) Student Full Name (First and Last Name)

2) Date of Birth (Month / Date / Year)

3) ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ ID Number (8XXXXXXX)

4) ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ Miner Email (USERNAME@miners.utep.edu)

NOTE: The Distance Spanish Placement Testing Request is only valid for 30 days from when it is received by the Testing Coordinator. DO notify us if it took longer than 30 days to complete.
